The krill fishing crisis
Antarctic krill are the foundation of the Southern Ocean food web. Whales, penguins, seals, seabirds, and fish all depend on krill for survival. Today, unnecessary industrial fishing pressure is rapidly increasing in wildlife-rich waters around the Antarctic Peninsula.
